Live at IBMS Congress: Day 4

What a fantastic end to another IBMS Congress! The event did not disappoint and it was an incredible experience for Sonic Healthcare UK!

We were able to connect with delegates, share how passionate we are about the organisation and the fact that our pathology starts with our people. The stand was as busy as ever, with a constant flow of delegates interested in our laboratories and stand attractions.

Consultant Clinical Scientist, Simon Salter, represented the business while giving an insightful presentation for Sebia on Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency and the use of phenotyping to diagnose it. His talk on the inherited genetic disorder that can cause lung and liver problems provoked an engaging discussion with those in attendance.

It was a pleasure for our staff attending the exhibition to see themselves and the contribution they had made to our stand design and literature. Many spotted their case studies within our interactive map or in our brochure.

It was Recruitment Lead, Niuosha Nobari’s, first time at Congress and she said: “I really enjoyed myself at IBMS Congress. It was a fantastic experience - full of energy, insightful discussions on the latest in biomedical science and a chance to connect with passionate professionals, while showing Sonic Healthcare UK and our amazing teams!”

We were proud to once again be part of the largest biomedical science exhibition in the country. Thank you to the IBMS for yet another Congress to remember.
